

Call for Papers
SEIT4SD 2026 invites researchers, academics, industry professionals, policymakers, and practitioners to submit original research contributions addressing critical challenges and innovations in science, engineering, and information technology for sustainable development. The conference will be hosted by Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, from 15–19 June 2026, and will serve as a global forum for exchanging cutting-edge research and actionable solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

All papers must be written in English.

• Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere. six tracks that will be discussed at SEIT4SD 2026.

• Abstract length: 150–250 words, formatted according to the conference template.

Submitted papers must have a minimum length of 6 pages, but preferably 6-8 pages.

Abstracts and papers with less than six pages will not be published in the Springer proceedings.

Review Process
-
Papers submitted to SEIT4SD will be evaluated through double-blind peer-reviewed according to the internationally accepted ethical standards of scientific publication.

Accepted papers will be subjected to quality editing. Successful articles will proceed to copy and proof for the indexed Springer Publication.

The submissions will be reviewed by at least two independent referees.
-
The acceptance rate will be kept at 60%.
-
The similarity should be less than 15%.
Publications and Special Issues
-
The accepted papers will be published as a Springer book proceeding. The conference book proceeding will be published with ISBN number by Springer Nature and indexed by SCOPUS.

A selection of papers will be published as Journal Publication in Q1 in special issues dedicated to the conference subject to further developments to match the journal requirements.

Special issue:
SEIT4SD 2026 has teamed up with the Special Journal Issue on Top Impact factor journals. A number of selected high-impact full text papers will also be considered for the special journal issues. All submitted papers will have the opportunity to be considered for this Special Journal Issue.
The paper selection will be carried out during the peer review process as well as at the conference presentation stage. Submitted papers must not be under consideration by any other journal or publication. The final decision for paper selection will be made based on peer review reports by the Guest Editors and the Editor-in-Chief jointly. The open access charges should be borne by the Authors.
