Scope & Tracks

SEIT4SD is the most dynamic, informative, inspirational, and innovative event organized by the Engineering College of Kwame Nkuruma University (Kumasi, Ghana). For the second year, we are using our conferences as an opportunity to connect talented people all over the world with decision-makers and limitless opportunities. The 2026 conference focuses on the State of the Art and Practice in different sustainable development goals (SDG's); as one of the promising and trending Engineering disciplines, this field is still changing rapidly. Along with the diversity of presentations on challenging projects and research, SEIT4SD 2026 will feature multiple invited speakers on selected topics. The conference will include a wide range of knowledge-enhancing technical and panel sessions, short courses, and workshops.

Kumasi
Ghana is a vibrant country located in West Africa, along the Gulf of Guinea. It gained independence from British colonial rule in 1957, becoming the first sub-Saharan African nation to do so under the leadership of Kwame Nkrumah.
Ghana is known for its political stability, democratic governance, and peaceful transitions of power. The capital city, Accra, serves as the country’s economic and cultural hub.The economy is largely driven by natural resources such as gold, cocoa, and oil, making Ghana one of Africa’s leading producers of these commodities. Culturally, Ghana is rich in traditions, music, festivals, and diverse ethnic groups, including the Akan, Mole-Dagbani, and Ewe. English is the official language, and the country is also famous for its hospitality, often referred to as the “Gateway to Africa.”
